#grateful #thankful #blessed.. it seems people on social media have totally created a cliche of these words now, and I’m a little upset about it!
I’m upset about it because these words are something that have really gotten me from “blah..” some days to “heck yes I love this life!” and they shouldn’t be undermined. Every day I try and write down or think about what I am grateful for, what I am totally blessed to have, and what I have won at that day. Things like my dog, dogs in general, videos of dogs, the sunshine, the gift of everyone being different from one another, dogs, a new distance I have run, living where I get to live.. all of that just scratches the surface. And today I have a big new one! A big opportunity come through with my business that I just started up 4 weeks ago, Pawsitive Scents. I had interest from a local all natural pet food store here in Victoria (Raw Feeding Victoria), and they want to sell my product. MY product.. The product that was completely made up in my head just 6 months ago.. I really had no idea how big of an impact I could make with my vision, and I am realizing now how I can really be a contribution to this community so filled with dog owners! It’s a big deal!
I guess what I am trying to say is you should never downgrade your success.. big or small. A win is a win – as one of my favorite coaches use to tell me – and you need to celebrate! Being #thankful, and #grateful is not a cliche, it is crucial in being a happy and positive person!! This life definitely has ups and downs, but it is how you push through those downs, and celebrate your ups that really builds you as a person in my opinion.
